Compare your home country with a destination. See nominal voltage, frequency and plug-family differences; device compatibility still needs an INPUT label.
Use the country plug and voltage comparison
How to interpret the result
This comparison lists nominal country references. A plug-family overlap is only a lead for a physical check. It cannot establish that the actual socket accepts your device or preserves earth. Add the device INPUT range and the property’s socket details before use.
A practical example and limit
For example, the US profile lists 120V/60Hz and A/B families, while Japan lists 100V and regional 50/60Hz. Their plug families overlap, yet a 120V-only appliance still falls outside Japan’s nominal voltage. Treat the comparison as a list of questions to resolve, then open the destination page for its evidence status. A device with a detachable power brick should be checked at the brick’s INPUT label.
Before connecting anything
Read the exact appliance AC INPUT label, destination outlet voltage and plug variant. Check a grounded path and the lowest rated AC connector. If the result says blocked or needs confirmation, leave the setup unplugged until the missing point is resolved.
