These are browsing groups, not appliance compatibility classes. Compare each actual nominal value with the device INPUT range.

Read the individual number
A group name helps you browse, not decide whether a device can be used. A product marked 120V only does not automatically accept Japan’s 100V or Mexico’s 127V, and a product marked 220V only does not automatically accept 230V or 240V. Brazil and French Polynesia need a facility-specific answer before a single-voltage appliance is connected. The device checker compares the stated INPUT range with the candidate supply values rather than rounding them into one bucket.
How to use these pages
The labels 220V, 230V and 240V are not interchangeable device ratings. Do not widen a product label by rounding.
